How fucking dare they say low paid workers aren’t working enough. No fuckers, the rent is too high, the tax is too high, I don’t need to earn more, the government and greedy landlords need to earn less. And getting a living wage is next to impossible, how about raising wages? These pricks won’t be happy until we have the pay and working conditions of the Chinese and are happy to live in slums. I don’t want to compete with China, China fucking sucks balls. It’s like watching your neighbour beat and piss on their kids and thinking ‘Yeah, let’s do that to ours.’
This isn’t about helping people, this is about punishing them. Many are quick to accuse the poor of jealousy when they want to tax the rich, because more often than not they must be forced to give something back to the communities and people they destroy in pursuit of profit and they don’t like that, but the systematic undermining of the little wealth and protection the poor has, well that’s just fucking dandy. Rich people who complain about being taxed should set up community projects to help the less fortunate, educate the next generation well and protect people from exploitation, make the government obsolete by doing it better, if they’re not doing that then they should shut the fuck up and pay tax. It needs to be done, one way or another, or we may as well just call an end to any pretence of being civilised. It’s a shitty broken system, but it’s the only one we have right now. Making it worse for some does not help when it could be better for all. We can either work toward a system that helps and protects people, with or without the middle man, or be robbed more and more so the government can incompetently pretend to do that while actually spending the money on the ‘elite’ and not giving a shit about anyone else while wearing different colour ties and pretending this makes any difference to their behaviour.
Austerity has nothing to do with reducing the deficit, I’ve been saying that all along and they’ve finally admitted it: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2013/nov/11/david-cameron-policy-shift-leaner-efficient-state
Apparently they want to create a leaner, more efficient state. More efficient at what exactly? Subjugating and asset stripping the many while increasing the wealth and power of the few?
And while I’m ranting UC seems like a good way to get all benefits into one easily scrapable system. I bet you that’s the aim. Get rid of benefits and let people live out of homeless shelters and foodbanks. ‘Look how much more effective they are than benefits’ they’ll claim, while pissing champagne into their duck ponds. Wankers.
